Kalani Mahi is in his seventh https://www.parissportifsensuisse.com/20bet year as a member of Bobbi Petersen's coaching staff. Mahi has a wealth of collegiate and international coaching experience. Prior to joining the Panthers staff in 2004, Mahi served as head coach at the University of Oklahoma in the rugged Big 12 Conference, and improved the Sooners' record each of his final three years. He also has previous experience in the Missouri Valley Conference, serving as head coach at Bradley University (1995-98), where he guided the Braves to three consecutive Missouri Valley Conference tournament appearances and posted the school's most ever wins for a rookie coach. Mahi has also served as an assistant coach at Bradley (1992-95) and Illinois State (1998-2000). A graduate of Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, Mahi was a collegiate club All-American, as well as team captain for the Yellowjackets. Mahi also worked for USA Volleyball National Development Camps in Lamoni, Iowa, for 12 years as a head coach, court coach and camp clinician. He has a USA Volleyball Coaching Accreditation (CAP) Level II Certification. Mahi received his bachelor's degree from Graceland in 1987 in business administration and computer information systems. He received his master's in health, physical education and recreation from the University of Mississippi in 1990.
